slippy slide, swooshing Soli -- Southbank!

I finally managed to get to Tate Modern to see Carsten Holler's slides in the Turbine Hall of this power-station-turned-art-museum. There weren't enough of me to look after kids and stuff as well as go down a slide, so I just admired them from the outside. Very pleasing to mine eye! More info & pix here: http://www.tate.org.uk/modern/exhibitions/carstenholler/interview.shtm

The boys enjoy the sights & space at Tate Mod-- and then they love to greet the River again when we get back outside. Sol still protests against going over the Millennium Footbridge (behind him in this pic), but he'll quite happily sit in the strong wind on the wall of the Thames and swoosh about like he'll fly away. Don't worry-- there was a big platform atop staircase behind him!
